Korean fine crafts on display in Hanoi

Sixty fine craft items made of ceramic, porcelain, fabric, wood, paper, and metal by 21 artisans from the Republic of Korea are currently on display at the Republic of Korea Cultural Centre in Hanoi. The objects, ranging from a ceramic apple, to business card holders, jewelry and lamps, are made by a group of artisans headed by Hyang Lim who have been exhibiting their works in Europe since 2008.

Festival spotlights heritage cultural heritage

The sixth Viet Nam Heritage Day festival has begun at the Viet Nam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts on Hoa Lu Street in Ha Noi.

"The festival is being held with the aim to celebrate the country's rich past, respect the contribution of young people towards preserving cultural traditions and raising their awareness and responsibility to developing the national heritage," said Ha Noi Association of Literature and Arts president Do Thi Hao.
